Marketing Specialist
Responsibilities and Key Goals
The marketing specialist supports the marketing plan through ongoing creation of content for B2B acquisition, retention, product, and brand messaging that can be deployed to internal teams and externally across relevant marketing channels.
Core Job Duties:
- Work independently and with various stakeholders/experts to gather information that you use to convert new product and service information into valuable, solution-oriented content.
- Optimize existing B2B-focused acquisition, retention, brand, and product marketing content including case studies, sales collateral, event/presentation materials, whitepapers, and drip campaigns.
- Modify content to facilitate its repurpose across multiple channels and to ensure that it targets the appropriate audience.
Key Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years online marketing experience.
- B2B marketing experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to maintain up-to-date understanding of market needs in online marketing and e-commerce, especially the affiliate marketing space.
- Superior written communication skills, making sure all messaging supports strategic and tactical objectives and stays “on brand.”
- Ability to set priorities and manage a multitude of projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in a fast-moving, highly collaborative team environment.
- International marketing experience a plus.
Knowledge/Skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 4 year degree
